POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
POSITION TITLE: Student Accounts Specialist (P/T)
SALARY GRADE: $15.00/hr
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate degree or three years applicable experience with customer accounts.
Experience: Must have 2-3 years experience with customer accounts. Experience in contacting delinquent accounts and updating computer records preferred. Community college experience preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software packages.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse customer populations.
- Superb interpersonal skills to work with students, staff, faculty, and administration.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reports to: Student Services Manager
Supervises: N/A
RESPONSIBLIITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Implements reminder-system for students on payment plans
- Handles student payment transactions.
- Updates student accounts data in Campus 2000.
- Contacts students with delinquent accounts.
- Assists in preparing account reports.
