POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION TITLE: Student Accounts Specialist (P/T)

SALARY GRADE: $15.00/hr

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Associate degree or three years applicable experience with customer accounts.

Experience: Must have 2-3 years experience with customer accounts. Experience in contacting delinquent accounts and updating computer records preferred. Community college experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:

  1. Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  2. Familiarity with accounting software packages.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse customer populations.
  4. Superb interpersonal skills to work with students, staff, faculty, and administration.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:

Reports to: Student Services Manager

Supervises: N/A

RESPONSIBLIITIES OF THE POSITION:

  1. Implements reminder-system for students on payment plans
  2. Handles student payment transactions.
  3. Updates student accounts data in Campus 2000.
  4. Contacts students with delinquent accounts.
  5. Assists in preparing account reports.
