POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position Title: Security, Part-Time
Salary:
Minimum Qualifications
Education: A.A. degree preferred.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in security or similar field.
Skills/Abilities:
- Interpersonal communications skills both oral and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Computer skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Emergency Management Coordinator or as designated by Provost
Responsibilities:
- Patrol campus areas to establish a visible presence as assigned during hours of college operation.
- Maintain an appropriate level of security in all areas of the campus.
- Ensure vehicles are in compliance with established college policies.
- Respond as called to emergency situations.
- File appropriate documentation regarding all routine activities as well as emergency response activities.
- Escort staff, faculty and/or students to their vehicles as requested during evening hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
