POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Position Title: Security, Part-Time

Salary:          

Minimum Qualifications

Education: A.A. degree preferred.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in security or similar field.

Skills/Abilities:        

    • Interpersonal communications skills both oral and written.
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Computer skills.
    • Ability to work independently.

Reporting Structure:     

Reports to:     Emergency Management Coordinator or as designated by Provost

Responsibilities:       

  1. Patrol campus areas to establish a visible presence as assigned during hours of college operation.
  2. Maintain an appropriate level of security in all areas of the campus.
  3. Ensure vehicles are in compliance with established college policies.
  4. Respond as called to emergency situations.
  5. File appropriate documentation regarding all routine activities as well as emergency response activities.   
  6. Escort staff, faculty and/or students to their vehicles as requested during evening hours.
  7. Other duties as assigned.
