POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION TITLE: Front Desk Receptionist/Student Account Specialist Part Time
SALARY GRADE: $15.00/hour

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education: Associate’s Degree in appropriate specialty.

Experience: Experience in working with diverse cohorts of students, preferably in a community college setting.

Skills/Abilities:      

  1. Ability to work with diverse student populations
  2. Superb organizational skills.
  3. Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

REPORTING STRUCTURE:      

Reports to:   Student Services Manager
Supervises:   N/A

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

  1. Staff switchboard during late afternoon and evening hours.
  2. Provide publications and materials to students upon request.
  3. Assist in data collection for enrollment services management.
  4. Collect student payments and record against student ledger.
  5. Assist in maintaining file room.
  6. Other duties as assigned by Student Services administrators.
